What Komodo National Park is Known For
Komodo Dragons
The world's largest lizard, found only here and on a handful of smaller islands. Around 1,700 dragons live across the park — Rinca gives reliable sightings with shorter travel time from Labuan Bajo.
World-Class Diving
Manta rays at Manta Point, oceanic sharks at Crystal Rock, reef walls at Batu Bolong. The convergence of Indian Ocean and Pacific currents creates some of the richest marine biodiversity on earth.
Pink Beach
One of only seven pink-sand beaches in the world. The colour comes from red coral fragments mixed into the white sand. Snorkelling off the beach is exceptional.
Padar Viewpoint
The most photographed landscape in Indonesia. A 30-minute steep hike from the jetty rewards you with a panorama over three differently-coloured bays.
Liveaboard Access
The Lombok–Komodo liveaboard route crosses Wallace's Line and anchors at remote sites most day boats never reach. 3–4 nights is the standard trip length.
